Our Purpose and Mission
At South Hills Church of Christ, we are dedicated to proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified and to living faithful and holy lives as we share the love of Christ with our neighbors. Our mission is to announce the good news of the Kingdom of God and to call all people to repent and turn to God.

Our Core Values
South Hills Church of Christ is grounded in the values of worship, fellowship, and service. We strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone is embraced, valued, and built up in the most holy faith.
Worship
Offering worship to God is at the core of who we are at the South Hills Church of Christ. Our weekly worship services are structured to facilitate meaningful, sincere worship of God. We engage in communal prayers, partake of the Lord's Supper every Sunday, unite our voices in song, give of our financial means to God, and engage in Bible Study through our Bible class and a sermon. Our goal is to offer worship "in Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)
Fellowship
Weekly renewing our bonds of friendship and fellowship is an integral part of who we are at the South Hills Church of Christ. We believe it is vitally important for each member to maintain active participation with the rest of the body of Christ to grow spiritually closer to God. Just as the Godhead exists in loving fellowship of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, so we, too, aim to participate in that divine life with one another.
Service
Having the heart of a servant is a vital part of who we are at the South Hills Church of Christ. Engaging in acts of service toward our neighbors is one way God designed for us to offer service to Him. To love God is to love our neighbor, and we seek to imitate Jesus who came, "not to be served but to serve." (Mark 10:45) We believe that every member is called to an area of service, and we encourage each member to seek out and follow God's call in doing the good works in Christ Jesus which God prepared beforehand for them to do. (Eph. 2:10)
